Sharon Broyles, CPA
Sharon graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree and a major in Accounting. She started working in a family business at a very young age. She became a Certified Public Accountant in 1986 while working in public accounting at Peat Marwick Main & Company. Over the last 25 years since graduating from college she has worked both in public accounting for local C.P.A. firms and in executive management in private industry. She joined our firm in December 2007 after working as an Audit Manager for over ten years.
Sharon specializes in Auditing of Financial Statements and is also involved with Compilations, Reviews, tax preparation and accounting services. “I especially enjoy Auditing because of the variety and going out to the different clients and working with them at their locations and businesses.”
“I knew that I wanted to be in Accounting because no matter what kind of business you are involved with there is always the need for Accounting. A lot of people assume accountants are stuffy, boring, number crunchers, but it is anything but boring when you work with the variety of business people, individuals, industries, challenges and problem solving that we deal with.”
Sharon is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.
